"I'm loaded and willing to spend pretty much anything" kind of FUN!

Biplane Rides + aerobatics |

If you are really looking for a thrill, and can handle this much of an addrenelin rush - we admire you! Prices are all over the place, but expect to pay between $200 and $700 approximately depending on where, what plane, how long etc. We're sure you can spend more, but this seems to be the average. Most places we found online were at least an hour and a half from DC, so it's going to be a day event now matter where you end up, but we think that you'll probably find it worth it if you've been dreaming of this sort of thing! Don't forget to stop at a Cracker Barrel on your way BACK from the flight (especially if you're going for the aeorbatics!).

Dude Ranch |
|
| We have tried to track down a city slickers type experience, and we came up with the Marriott Ranch out in Hume, Va. It is definitely a luxury version of what we were imagining, but we think that might be a good thing! Here you can be a dude during the day, and still enjoy a good meal and a soft bed at the end of the day. The Marriott Ranch also has many activities you can enjoy, from horseback riding (or course), hunting, hiking, to wine tasting in local vineyards. They also off group packages. |
